Mariam Suri is a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry in May 2016. She is now pursuing her Master of Public Health in Environmental Health which a focus on Environmental Infectious Disease. Currently, she works in the Emerging Infectious Program at the Minnesota Department of Health. Mariam has considerable interest in global health and her goal after graduation is to find a career that allows her to work with different communities across the world.
