Stephen Rueff believes in the power of business to create positive change benefiting people and the planet. He is an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Arts Entrepreneurship department at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. As the co-founder of SuperMonster市City!, a venture celebrating monsters, superheroes, and villains, Stephen explores the impacts of American pop culture through research, curating museum exhibits, publishing books, and more.
Prior to joining academia, Stephen was an executive producer for global corporate communications companies, producing events throughout the United States, across Europe, and in the Middle East. He also worked in the performing arts where he toured the globe with artists such as Blue Man Group, Karen Finley, MacArthur Award Recipients Meredith Monk, Bill T. Jones, and many others. Early in his career, Rueff was awarded two McKnight Fellowships for his creative work in the performing arts.
