THE PACT PROJECT
PACT is a project of Sierra Leone Foundation for New Democracy (SLFND). PACT provides consultative services to communities in Africa aspiring, interested in supporting permaculture work across the Africa content. The PACT Project draws on indigenous wisdom, traditions, and cultures of the communities we work in. The PACT Project see permaculture design process as cyclical, finding and using information from “domains” such as
biological, governance, financial, and cultural. The design process is iterative and constantly incorporating new information and testing ideas.
The PACT Project will work with communities using our four phase approach. In certain situation depending on the nature of the work, site design needs, or resources, combination of different phases is possible, but again, this is a good way for project design to fail.
