Robert Harris IIICo-Chair
“Robert has joined SLFND to support our external communications and fundraising efforts. Robert is a Minnesota transplant, originally from Chicago, and joins us as a graduate of Carleton College. He has an academic background in the ecological sciences and international development, having worked on the pilot team of what is now Healthy Fire LLC in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Robert has also spent time researching ecotourism and development in Tanzania, Greece, and Australia. During his undergraduate career, Robert was involved with the Center for Community and Civic Engagement, where he founded and directed a sustainable agriculture seminar, Heart of the Heartland. This seminar sprouted out of Robert's passion for local community engagement and to regenerate a land ethic while cultivating the next generation of agricultural leaders.
